Andalo is a renowned summer and winter tourist resort and is situated at an altitude of 1,040 m between the Brenta Range and the Pagnella masif. With modern ski lifts running to the top of the Pagnella mountains at 2,125 m and over 20 ski runs, most of which are equipped with man-made snow-making facilities. Both the ice rink and ski lifts are just a few minutes walk from the hotel. In addition to the winter sport facilites Andalo has an indoor swimming pool and various sports pitches. Andalo is perfect for families and couples of all ages........

About Andalo

This small ski town in Italy is perfectly located for some of the best skiing, with a direct link to the Pagnella mountains famously known as being the best resort in the Dolomites! Our hotel is conveniently situated across the road from the cable car lift which takes you directly to the best ski runs, it is literally a 2 minute walk. At the cable car entrance there is a facility to leave your skis and boots in the locker room.

The price of skiing is extremely reasonable in Andalo and because we are going later in the season you will also get an extra discount on the ski pass and rentals. The ice skating seminar is really geared up for people who want to skate and ski and for those members of the family who do not skate at all. Every year we have part of the group who are non-skaters and come to join the group atmosphere and the great skiing!!!

There are miles of informally pisted skiing through the trees and some fabulous off-piste too. Beginners have excellent nursury areas in the village and also at the mid station where the snow is always good. Intermediates have plenty of excitement on the long reds and blues which are well worked out with no flat spots or unpleasant surprises. Advanced have fantastic off-piste and mogul runs on the high slopes above Fai as well as a brand new black run. With all the long challenging runs across the whole mountain even the most advanced skiers won't get bored in a week.

For those who do not ski or skate there is the opportunity to walk in some of the most breathtaking surroundings not only in Andalo but in the neighbouring village of Molveno with its beautiful lake. Trento is the nearest city which is approximately 40 minutes away by bus a super city for shopping and sightseeing.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           

Skating Seminar

The Seminar is for 60 minutes each day for 5 days. The whole group will do warm up exercises together and then we will split the group up accordingly. There will be an off ice warm up before the group tuition.

After the Seminar each day there is the opportunity to stay on for private lessons and practice with music. The price of this ice session is approximately 4 euros (discounts apply for children).

The ice rink is 10 minutes walk from the hotel, in the sports complex there is a swimming pool and huge arcade for the youngsters. At the back of the ice rink there is a big congress centre where there are dance classes throughout the week and wonderful shows. This is free entrance for visitors to Andalo.

Hotel

The group will be staying full board in the Hotel Adler, which is conveniently situated in the centre of Andalo, ten minutes walk from the ice rink and two minutes from the ski lifts. The hotel has been upgraded to 4S rating all rooms are now comfort rooms and the spa has been renovated. The price includes full board, but for those who maybe out all day, lunch passes are available for certain restaurants. The hotel has a bar and a small dance floor, for those who have not had enough exercise in the day. The hotel also has a small pool downstairs, steam room, sauna, hot bed and jacuzzi. The wellness area is super, the perfect place for relaxation after a days skiing and skating! Most of the group are found down there prior to the evening meal!

Package Prices

Package prices (per person) available from the UK (excluding flights) are priced below to include full board accomodation, coach transfer from the airport and ice skating seminar. If there is a significant change to the rates prior to departure invoicing will be amended accordingly. Child discount applies to 3 or more sharing. Non-skaters deduct £125 from listed prices.
